We are looking for you to join our team in the Logistics Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Professional coordination of transports with consideration of cost and quality
- Preparation of all documents required for smooth order processing
- Point of contact for internal and external interfaces, particularly between procurement, sales, logistics service providers, and the warehouse
- Verification of documents as well as processing of receivables and payables with service providers and authorities, including initiation of corrective measures if necessary (e.g., invoices, customs documents)
- Handling and resolution of transport damages and initiation of recourse actions
- Participation in projects and continuous optimization of processes
- Preparation, execution, and monitoring of customs-related procedures
- Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Execution and management of freight tenders
- Monitoring and evaluation of service quality of external logistics partners
What you bring:
- Completed vocational training in freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in a logistics environment (at least 2 years)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with SAP
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
- High level of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Strong organizational skills
- Team-oriented working style
- Proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Careful and detail-oriented way of working
