This position will play a key role in shaping the future of material innovation across ANTA’s international brands, supporting the company’s ambition to further expand and strengthen its influence in the European and global sportswear markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end innovation from concept to materialization , developing new fabrics and technologies projected to launch in the next 2–3 years (e.g., antibacterial, windproof, and eco-friendly materials).
- Create and develop independently innovative patented material technologies that provide a competitive edge in sportswear.
- Identify, integrate, and manage global supplier resources, leveraging partnerships with leading universities, research institutions, and major material manufacturers.
- Drive joint R&D initiatives with external partners to accelerate advanced material development.
- Translate scientific and technological stories of new fabrics into compelling narratives for internal stakeholders, facilitating adoption by design, product, and marketing teams.
- Support trend analysis and information gathering to track emerging technologies, sustainability trends, and material innovations in the global textile market.
- Ensure cross-brand application of new fabrics across the ANTA Group’s portfolio.
- Represent the company in industry forums, fairs, and innovation platforms when required.
- This position provides a flexible work arrangement with no restriction on the workplace.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in textile/material R&D, preferably within sportswear, performance apparel, or functional fabrics.
- Strong expertise in fabric technologies, including performance finishes, functional treatments, sustainable and eco-materials, and advanced fibers.
- Established network with global textile suppliers, universities, and R&D institutions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to take projects from conceptual stage to commercialization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts in an accessible way to non-technical teams.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel for supplier visits, conferences, and project-based needs.
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and self-driven mindset with the ability to work flexibly across global teams.
