We are looking for you to join our team in the Finance Department at in Gdynia as a Senior General Ledger Accountant (m/w/d) as soon as possible.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Manage and maintain General Ledger accounting for assigned entities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and adjustments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Controlling, and operational stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
- Contribute to best‑practice development within the Finance function.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or SSC/BPO.
- Strong knowledge of GL and Record-to-Report processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Fluent English (German or other EU languages are a plus).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
